Indian Creek Lodge - Douglas City

This place perfectly suits my needs with free wi-fi, a seasonal pool, and excellent staff. They helped me with a taxi on my first visit, made a big difference. Highly recommend it for a cozy stay. I'm coming back for Xmas!

Beds were a little hard.

Everything was simply incredible. Truly enjoyed my perfectly pleasant stay on a 10 day road trip. The room I got was well-kept with all the modern comforts and fridge, for instance. It was nice to find a microwave oven, coffee/tea makers, and a fridge. The stuff was outstandingly accommodating plus the location was absolutely wonderful and convenient. I ate at the gourmet restaurant near the hotel.

great stay but needed more bathrooms

The views from the rear hotel were fine. The penthouse space was excellent, great to gather comfortably, even if the kitchen wasn't necessary for our short visit.

The one bathroom was busy for the seven of us.

I loved the clear views of the river from my room and the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was attentive. I particularly enjoyed the delicious Italian food at the onsite restaurant. Everything was clean and well-maintained. A great getaway spot 🌲

perfect base for exploring city parks and riverside walks

we had a cozy stay where the responsive service added a nice touch, and the fantastic restaurant next door served excellent salmon, making this place feel special while we explored the nearby river trails and parks.

The standard family room had two bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchenette. The small terrace overlooking the river was perfect for our meals. The location is great, just a short walk back to the river, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect spot for a couple's getaway

The room was cleaner than the lab I used to run, and the coffee was freshly ground, they really nailed the details. I also loved sitting by the fire pit after dinner, with a view of the river, it made me forget all the chaos outside.

Yeah, it wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, it was reasonable.

The onsite Italian restaurant served up fresh, local goodness, made our tastebuds dance. Plus, enjoying dinner under the stars by the fire pit was the cherry on top! The staff was friendly.

Wonderful Stay in a Scenic Retreat

Our family enjoyed a peaceful night here, with fine views of the river from our room. The kitchenette made meal prep easy, and the nearby grocery store had a fantastic selection. Don't miss the BBQ grills for an outdoor cookout-perfect for families!

We stayed in the Standard Family Room. Super comfy with two bedrooms, perfect for us. The kitchen, though small, had everything we needed. The terrace was a nice touch, overlooking the meadow and river. Loved the views and proximity to hiking trails! It.

Nice location by the river, great for fishing and canoeing. Thin walls made for a noisy morning. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

I was impressed by the beautiful setting and well-maintained grounds of Indian Creek Lodge. The cute atmosphere, combined withvery comfy and tidy accommodations, made for a good escape. The staff were great too ensure our comfort.

Additional seating for outdoor areas would be beneficial.

The room was beautifully maintained and had an exceptionally comfortable bed. There were a microwave, a fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities available. the location was absolutely wonderful and within short walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go.
